The Luigi Pericle Archive maintain and manage archival material of remarkable cultural interest: the Luigi Pericle Repository. This material is currently maintained at the headquarters of the Archive in Via Signor in Croce 1, in Ascona, Switzerland.
The Repository is committed to the conservation and cataloguing of paintings and documents; the unique – and often never exhibited – testimony to the work by artist Luigi Pericle.
Its objective is to catalogue the heritage encompassing works on canvas, masonite and paper, as well as written texts, and to promote it through exhibitions, studies, publications, conferences and meetings.
The archive highlight the multifaceted personality of Luigi Pericle, the plethora of his interests: drawings, letters, notes on Chinese medicine, homeopathy, astrology, researches on ancient Egypt, on Greek canons, on classical and oriental philosophy (Zen, Buddhism, theosophy, etc.), Pericle’s correspondence with New York publisher Macmillan, with the Director of the Arthur Tooth & Sons Gallery in London, with the Japanese Ambassador, with film directors, friends, spiritual masters, European and worldwide outstanding personalities. Archival material includes letters, notebooks, written reflections on faith, certificates, drawings, graphic work, et cetera.
Documents can be consulted, prior written request to the offices, for reasons of study and research.
Dear Curators, Journalists or Gallerists,
Here you find a presentation of the master Luigi Pericle and the monographic traveling exhibition of which the first stage is planned at the Querini Stampalia Foundation in Venice.
The exhibition will be taking place from 10 May to 24 November 2019. With this exhibition we are candidates to become Official Collateral Event of the Venice Art Biennale 2019.
The next step already confirmed will be at the Museo MASI (Museo d’Arte della Svizzera Italiana) in Lugano.
Several international exhibitions are planned and in the submission phase: an exhibition at the Museum of Asger Jorn in Albissola, one at the Museum of York in England, at National Museum of the Hieron, one at the Pinacoteca in Athens and in Museum in several Italian cities including Milan, Florence and Parma etc…
Prof. Marco Pasi presented Luigi Pericle’s work about a week ago in front of the public at the Guggenheim Symposium in New York held on the occasion of the opening of the exhibition of Hilma af Klint.
It would be very precious and a real honor, for the purposes of the process of promoting the artist in the International artistic environment, to receive your kind support with an exposition.
Thank you for your kindness and helpfulness.
